The chalet is located in a quiet surrounding with greenery and views on the Chamonix valley and at the same time in the heart of the village of Les Houches with all the shops available by walking up a 30m path to the main street.
The chalet is spacious (two lounges, dining room, mezzanine and more rooms) and has all the modern conveniences (3 bathrooms or showers, 3 WC's, appliances, TV, hi-fi, etc.). Its furnishings, decoration and fireplace which are typical of a mountain habitat make its occupants feel a warm and friendly atmosphere.
In the summer, sitting in the part of the garden in front of the cottage, guests can spend pleasant moments in the sun enjoying the view on the white snowy summits.
The Bellevue cable car is seven minutes walking and two minutes with the shuttle. The Prarion one is 5 minutes with the shuttle. As a ski resort, Les Houches has one black run, 12 red runs, 5 blue runs and 4 green as well as many possibilities for cross-country skiing. The valley of Chamonix is served by shuttles that go to Chamonix, Argentière and the Tour, which provides access to a multitude of slopes, walks and landscapes. The shuttle stop is 100m close to the chalet.
In summer you will find walking routes to suit all levels, from enjoying the beautiful trails that run at La Flatière or Col de Voza above the village, to walking with crampons on the Vallée Blanche glaciers, or even endeavouring the ascent of Mont Blanc.
